Fresh 48 Newborn Session

Fresh48 Sessions are held in the first 48 hours of your babies arrival and are captured in the birth suite or in your room on the postnatal ward. These images differ from the posed, stylised images captured in the Chance Photographics studio sessions, they are more of a documentary/ natural style.  Included are all the little things such as babies hospital crib, tags, cot card, first meeting with siblings and even their first bath. These sessions can be a part of the bump to baby package and are a great way to capture the pregnancy journey all the way through to the arrival of baby.  I am available to attend hospitals in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast. Although, hospitals located outside of the Brisbane metro area do require an additional travel fee (discussed at the time of booking)  The session will go for around 1-2 hours depending on a number of factors such as the size of your family, feeding and ward rounding. Should you wish to include the siblings meeting and/or first bath, please make sure this is arranged prior to the session with family (for siblings) and  the midwives (for baths). I will do my best to come during visiting hours and ask that no other visitors be attending during that time, just to make the most out of your session time with me.  Home Births/ Early Discharged patients: I also include this service for all parents who wish to either birth at home or capture their little one in their own space after a short stay at hospital. How to book: Contact Chance around your second trimester where possible to avoid disappointment, once your booking fee is paid we will book you in for a couple of days post estimated due date.
